Full Moon in Scorpio April 23, 2024: The Rocky Picture Show
The Full Moon in Scorpio is inviting you to surrender to your feelings but to also protect your energy field from the collective. Identifying which feelings actually belong to you is tricky, but total truth and honesty with yourself is the illuminating force available with this lunation.
This Full Moon has an underlying turbulent energy due to its square to Pluto in Aquarius. The Sabian Symbol is: A Massive Rocky Shoreline. Rocks are sculpted and carved overtime by crashing waves that beat up against its surface. We are moulded by our emotions, some more weathered than others. Eventually, over time, the rocky shoreline will be transformed into sand, allowing the waves and tides to undulate its surface instead of beating up against a tough rocky terrain.
This Full Moon we may find ourselves overwhelmed with feelings of resistance and pressure from those whose waves seek to break us down. This lunation is happening around the Moon’s Fall Degree and Pluto’s exaltation degree, meaning where the Moon is the weakest and Pluto is the strongest. Here endings are promised, but also deep dark secrets, pain, and heavy emotions. With the square to Pluto, there is a call for deep surrender to transform your negative emotions, to release them. Pluto is in Aquarius, the sign of people, society, groups, and ideologies- we must awaken to the truth of who we are and not allow others to shape, sculpt, and mould us in the vision or version of who they want us to be. The Moon’s square to Pluto is a classic energy vampire combination, making it easy for others to drain your life force. Protect yourself– be strong like the rocky shoreline, but not too rigid that you become a fortress to yourself.
Over time the waves crashing against the rocky shore will transform it into sand, where our emotions will find a soft landing instead of resistance.
Your tough exterior is resisting the opportunity to transform. Surrender to the waves and allow yourself to feel at this time. Be mindful of an eroding sense of self, making you overwhelmed by the opinions of others.

Mercury will station direct on April 25th, 2024 at 15 degrees Aries after turning retrograde on April 1st. Technical glitches will start to subside, but retrospective thoughts will continue to appear until Mercury leaves it shadow on May 13, 2024. Sunday April 28, 2024: Mars conjunct Neptune & Venus conjunct Chiron
Sunday April 28, 2024 Mars will conjunct Neptune in Pisces, creating a feeling of fatigue and low energy. Surrender, go with the flow, and channel your passion into artistic/spiritual activities. Now is not the time to force anything. The same day, Venus will conjunct Chiron at 19 degrees Aries which is the degree of the Solar Eclipse from April 8, 2024. What you need to heal in order to value the sovereign and exalted you will be available this day.

This week’s bookscope is based on a book I recently read and reviewed called We Were Pretending by Hannah Gersen. It’s a book about a woman named Leigh who got caught up in some nefarious things involving mushrooms (Scorpio) due to her overwhelming climate anxiety. She was giving her power away to a manipulative woman who threatened to upend her entire life.
